The Smart Guide to Selling Shredding
For an easier understanding of selling add-on services, Advantia have launched a series of smart guides to help our members. The first ‘Smart Guide’ we are launching is on selling shredding, service supplied by Shred-it, and has been produced specifically for your sales people.
It is designed to give a simple process to follow and all the tools needed to go out and sell this service into new and existing customers.
This is a really easy way of increasing the turnover and profitability of an account and requires very little maintenance after the initial set up, it’s just a matter of invoicing on a monthly basis.
“We currently have 8 customers set up with consoles….This generates sales of £367 per month with a profit of £125, which equates to £1,500 Per Year Profit and growing for signing them up and sending them an invoice each month and we are only scratching the service at the moment…On top of this we have a regular supply of bags and boxes that are getting shredded… We have invoiced 1100 bags of shredding over the last 12 months and 300 Archive Boxes…This has contributed approx.£3,000 in sales at 35% GP….There is huge potential in shredding”
